    Royals trade Victor Marte to the Cardinals
    According to Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post Dispatch, the Kansas City Royals have traded right handed pitcher Victor Marte to the St. Louis Cardinals. The Royals will receive future considerations in exchange of the right hander. Marte was 3-0 with a 9.76 ERA in 27.2 innings throughout 22 games with the Royals in 2010.

    Royals designate Bullington, Marte, Mendoza and Parraz
    The Royals added left-handed pitcher Everett Teaford, first baseman designated hitter Clint Robinson and outfielders David Lough and Derrick Robinson to the roster, according to the Kansas City Star’s Bob Dutton. With those moves, the Royals designated right-handed pitchers Bryan Bullington, Victor Marte and Luis Mendoza and outfielder Jordan Parraz.
