According to Sports Illustrated’s Jon Heyman (via MLB.com’s Scott Merkin), the Chicago White Sox and Tony Pena will avoid arbitration through a one-year, $1.6 million deal.
Pena was 5-3 with a 5.10 ERA in 100.2 innings throughout 52 games, 3 starts with the White Sox in 2010.
