The New York Yankees have signed Clay Rapada to a minor league deal with an invite to Spring Training, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.
Rapada became a free agent when the Orioles released him earlier this week.
Rapada posted a 6.06 era in 16 1/3 innings for the Orioles last season.

Left-handed pitcher Clay Rapada was released by the Texas Rangers, according to Anthony Andro of the Star-Telegram. Rapada was designated for assignment by the team on Janaury 3.
Rapada, 29, has a 3-0 record with a 4.71 ERA over 46 relief appearances for the Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers and Rangers in 2010.
