After losing Juan Uribe to the Dodgers, the Giants decided to sign another veteran shortstop, Miguel Tejada, to a one-year deal for about a third of the money Uribe signed for.

The Chicago White Sox have officially announced Alexei Ramirez’s four-year extension according to Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports.
